Il Caggio offers a traditional and genuine cuisine, based on seasonal ingredients and quality of raw materials, starting from the products we grow on the farm.

Every morning we prepare a sweet and savory breakfast: homemade cakes and biscuits, jams of our production, yogurt, cold cuts, cheeses, bruschetta and more! Our menu changes every day and at any time of the year.

Stay with us for dinner and taste a typical Tuscan meal, prepared according to our family recipes, exclusively using fresh and local ingredients, first of all the vegetables we grow in the garden and the chestnuts flour we produce.

Reserve a table

The kitchen is open for lunch or dinner by reservation only.
To our guests who stay overnight, we kindly ask to check availability at least the day before.

They can also take advantage of our “home delivery” service which gives the opportunity to taste our specialties in the tranquility of your own apartment.

If you’re planning a family lunch or a dinner with friends do not hesitate to call us to check availability and agree on a personalized menu or consider joining one of our “Sunday Lunch”!

The Farm

An “agriturismo” is a real farm, not only an accommodation facility or a restaurant.

At Il Caggio we grow our products in a sustainable way, without the use of pesticides and chemicals. To us agriculture is synonymous with respect for the environment and protection of the territory, starting with the preservation of our dry stone walls.

PS. Have you ever heard about the “Art of dry stone walling”? Well, Unesco added that to its list of Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2018!

Our products

Among our products, that you’ll have the possibility to taste and buy on site, we offer:

Extra virgin olive oil, cold extracted and produced exclusively with the olives we harvest in our dry stone terraces. It is a typical Tuscan evo oil, sapid, fragrant, with a great personality. It is the result of the blend of different olive cultivars, such as Leccino, Frantoio, Moraiolo, Pendolino.

Jams and preserves, made with our fruits and vegetables: plums, figs, quinces, cherries, peaches, tomatoes, pumpkins… there is one for every season!

Chestnuts, from which we extract the flour for cakes and other typical specialties.
